Albert George Williams, Jr. was born in Mason, TN to the union of George Aubrey Williams Jr. and Estella Lloyd Williams on July 4, 1954. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and Lord and it was confirmed through baptism at Hopewell MB Church Mason, TN.  Being a native of Fayette County, Albert received his education from the Fayette County School District.

Albert's journey took him to Iowa where he has resided for over 20 years.  While in Iowa, he was gainfully employed with the Salvation Army prior to returning to his humble beginnings in Mason, TN.

On the 3rd day of July, Albert George Williams, Jr. surrendered to his call at his residence at 12:45 p.m.  There is a void in the lives of his family, yet his profound memories will forever remain in the hearts of his 4 children Alison Briars, LaTorya (Michael) Livingston and Phillip Williams all of Memphis, TN and Albert LaShun (LaTonya) Briars of Covington, TN; 9 siblings Raymond Williams and Nathaniel (Teresa) Williams of Memphis, TN; Bernice Williams of Mason, TN; Herman (Loretta) Williams of Memphis, TN; Randy (Rita) Williams of Millington, TN; Ora Williams of Mason, TN and Ricky (Leta) Williams of Millington, TN; Valerie Scott, and Kimberly Scott, both of Memphis, TN, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, those preceding him in death include 2 siblings Frances M. Williams Bynes and Martha Jean Williams; and one grandson Marquis Briars.
