Andrea Deshun
Harwell
May 2, 1996 — Apr 13, 2025
On May 2, 1996, Shelton "Sr." and Jenny Burns Harwell welcomed their beloved son into the world in Memphis, Tennessee. Andrea received his education through the Fayette County School District. Though he faced challenges throughout his life,
he embraced each day with a spirit of joy and resilience.
"Dre" found great happiness in the simple moments. And if he wasn't in the mood to be bothered, he had a way of making it known—turning his head or closing his eyes with undeniable certainty.
Aside from the cherished time spent with family, the next best thing to him was indulging in a sweet ice cream treat or watching an episode of "Tom and Jerry" two of his favorite cartoon shows.
Without warning or a final farewell, he departed this life at his residence in Somerville, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. Andrea DeShun Harwell is survived by his devoted parents, Shelton and Jenny Burns Harwell of Somerville, Tennessee; siblings, Jalisha Harwell and Shelton Harwell, Jr., both of Somerville, Tennessee, and KeUndra Harwell of Memphis, Tennessee; dear niece, Ka'tia Harwell of Memphis, Tennessee; and his grandmother, Sandra Smith of Gallaway, Tennessee; a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family members will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Andre was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Harwell, and grandparents, Roman Harwell, Earnestine Harwell, and
Clinton Nisby.
He will truly be missed by those who shared in his life.
