Anterrious "Terry"
Pierre Linsey, Jr.
Nov 2, 1983 — Mar 7, 2026
Anterrious P. Linsey, Jr. was born on November 2, 1983, in Memphis, TN to the union of Anthony P. Linsey and Carolyn A. Neal Linsey. Without warning or a final farewell, he departed this life on March 7, 2026.
At a young age, Anterrious accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at Temple Church of God in Christ in Moscow, Tennessee. Affectionately known as "Terry" by family and friends, he was educated in the Fayette County Public School District and graduated from Fayette Ware High School in 2002.
Terry was a gifted musician. He sang and played several instruments, including the bass guitar, drums, and sousaphone—though the bass guitar held a special place in his heart. He shared his gifts generously, performing with the Fayette Ware High School Marching Band (Drum Major, 2001–2002), playing bass for numerous local churches and singing groups, and most recently performing with Vince Johnson and the Plantation Allstars at the Blues Hall and on Beale Street in Memphis. Beyond music, he found joy in training and riding horses and in the freedom of riding his motorcycle.
Professionally, "Terry" worked alongside his father and family at Right Way Construction Company as a Carpenter. He recently took his dedication and work ethic to CRDN of Mid-South as a Lead technician.
Forever holding his memory close are his father, Anthony P. Linsey of Moscow, TN; his three children—Kayden Linsey, Teriona Linsey, and Kandance Linsey, all of Moscow, TN; and his siblings—A'shonda Linsey of Moscow, TN; Ameshica Linsey of Somerville, TN; and Anthony D. (Brandi) Linsey of Memphis, TN. He also leaves behind two nephews, Lennox and Lucas Linsey, and a niece, Lauryn Linsey, all of Memphis, who brought him immense joy. Terry loved his family deeply and lived by "All for One and One for All."
Anterrious also leaves to cherish his memory a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends who loved him dearly.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Carolyn A. Neal Linsey; his paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Lillie B. Linsey; and his maternal grandparents, Floyd and Frankie M. Neal.
