Oh what joy that filled the room as the union of Willie Joe and (Estella Dyson) Tipton received their son in Memphis, Tennessee on July 22, 1956. Arber Nathaniel Tipton was his name. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and Lord at St. Mathew MB Church where he was formerly the choir director.
Known as "Nay Man" by family and friends, he received his education through the Tipton County School District and graduated from Covington High School in 1974. Arber enlisted in the United States Army in 1975. He was honorably discharged in 1981 with the rank of SP4.
Professionally, Arber continued his commitment to service by working at the Veteran Medical Center as an Environmental Service Technician, where he supported fellow veterans with dedication and pride.
Affectionately known as "Nay Man" by family and friends, Arber Nathaniel Tipton departed this life on the 26th day of February 2026, at the Veteran Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
Arber Nathaniel Tipton leaves to honor his memory four siblings: Roy Tipton of Memphis, TN ; Wayne (Fonda) Tipton of Nevada, MO, Yvonne Tipton Irons of Memphis, TN and Evelyn McLemore of Covington, TN. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Sharice Lattimore of Atlanta, GA; his companion of over 40 years, Lorraine Robinson; a special friend, Ed Robinson; godsons, Frank Robinson, Terrance Edwards and Charles Owens; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Preceding Arber in death were his parents; three siblings: Joe Tipton, Bobby Tipton, and Samuel Woodland; and one stepson, Daryl Lattimore. Arber Nathaniel Tipton will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
