Betty A. Woods Dye departed this life on April 17, 2024.  Betty was known as one of the kindest and most caring individual's that a person could encounter during a lifetime. For many years, she was a legendary cook for Longtown Restuarant in Somerville, TN.

Survivors includes 9 children, 3 generations of grandchildren, sister-n-law,  Annie Mae Woods, 2 dear friends- Barbara McGee and Mildred Benton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was the last of 12 children, born to the late Mose and Betty Cooper Woods. Along with her parents, all of her siblings precede her death: John Lee Woods, Fannie Mae Woods, Lucille Dye, Lorsie Middlebrooks, Earlean Risby, Mattie Grandberry, Doris Lee Deener, Jewel Grandberry, Mose Woods, Jr., Frazier Woods and "baby" Roosevelt Woods.
