Bobby "
Teenie" Louis Burnett
Aug 11, 1950 — Apr 4, 2025
Bobby Louis Burnett, Sr. was Born on August 11, 1950, in Covington, Tennessee, to the late Frank and Almedia Pruitt Burnett.
Bobby embraced his faith at a young age, dedicating his life to Christ under the spiritual leadership of the late Pastor T.J. Lewis at St. John Baptist Church. Known as "Teenie" by family and friends, Bobby grew up in Tipton County, where he completed his education within the Tipton County School District in Covington, TN. He met and later wed Patricia Randle, with whom he was blessed to share a blended family of seven children.
In service to his country, Bobby demonstrated steadfast dedication as a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. After his time in uniform, "Teenie" committed over two decades of his career as a lineman for the Illinois Central Railroad Company, retiring in 2005.
Above all else, Bobby cherished his role as a devoted husband, father, and provider. His family was his heart and his love for them was evident through his unwavering kindness, selflessness, and countless acts of affection. In his leisure time, Bobby enjoyed fishing, taking walks to marvel at the beauty of God's creation, and savoring life's simple joys. He never missed a chance to find happiness on the dance floor, even if his moves were charmingly "off-beat."
Bobby Louis Burnett, Sr., will be deeply missed for his fun-loving spirit, sincerity, and the light he brought into the lives of those who knew him. He leaves to celebrate his life a loving wife Patricia Randle Burnett of Memphis, TN; 3 sons shared with Mary Burnett of Covington, TN; Bobby L.
