Carl Anthony Harris, affectionately known as "Putt," was born on August 12, 1972, in Somerville, Tennessee, to Tommy Jr. and Joyce Ola Boyland Harris. On September 6, 2025, he passed peacefully at home in Mason, Tennessee.

He was a member of Reeves Chapel MB Church in Somerville, TN & a proud graduate of Fayette-Ware High School (Class of '91). Carl was formerly employed with B & C Construction in Memphis. He was known for his warmth, generosity, and love for simple joys—especially time spent with family and friends. Despite health challenges, he remained resilient and deeply devoted to those he loved.

Carl Anthony Harris was preceded in death by his grandparents: Tommy Sr. and Bertha Harris, and Willie and Ola Boyland. He leaves behind his loving parents, Tommy Jr. and Joyce Harris; his children, Alisha Harris and Carl Whitley; and seven cherished grandchildren: Jason, Johnathan, DaJah, Carson, Carlin, Carlemelo, and Amira. He also shared close bonds with many aunts, uncles, numerous relatives and friends. Carl's legacy will continue to live on through the love he gave and the lives he touched.
