Fred Wilson Taylor, 75, departed this life on April 21, 2024, at his residence in Dayton, Ohio.   Visitation will take place Friday May 10, 2024, from 1:00-5:00 pm at Palmer Funeral Home in Mason, TN. Services Saturday
May 11, 2024, at 11a.m. Greenleaf Community Church in Mason, TN. Burial will take place at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanton, TN.
Fred was born to the union of the late James Hewin Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Blackwell Taylor in Mason, TN on March 7, 1949.   He was a 1968 graduate of Frazier High School, Covington, TN. After graduation, Fred was drafted into the United States Army.

He leaves behind to cherish fond memories two siblings: Ruby(Walter) Gude of Mason, TN, and Margarette Taylor Jones of Antioch,TN; a loving and devoted nephew, Ruben {Yolanda} Evans, and the apple of his eye Ja'Nae Evans, his adorable great niece, a host of nieces ,nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Thirteen siblings preceded Fred in death: Robert George Taylor, Ida Nell Kendricks, Janie L. Taylor, Dorothy J. Boyland, Phyllis M. Anthony, Mary Ellen Terry, Izola Robinson, Willie James Taylor, Charlie L. Taylor, Thelma Jean Taylor, Melvin E. Taylor, Erma A. Claybon and Milton A. Taylor.
