Obituary

Gabrielle Geneanne Gabby" Boone was born on November 20, 1992 in Somerville, TN to Cynthia Boone and Ronnie Macklin.

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and Lord at Prospect MB Church where she was baptized and was involved in the PMBC Youth Choir and other youth ministries.

Her educational journey began in the Fayette County School District and throughout her life she always strived to be the best that she could be.  Known as "Gabby" by family and friends, Gabrielle pursued occupational outlooks, along with a more formal education, where she sought or earned degrees and certifications: University of Memphis (Biology); OTR Truck Driver; Lone Oaks Farm Team Member; Retail Leadership; Agricultural Science and Technology Degree (UTM-Somerville); with future aspirations to continue her studies, majoring in Farm and Ranch Management.

Throughout her life, Gabby was many things to many people... a friend, a comedian, a supporter, a "healer" with her holistic approach to minor illnesses, a realist and genuine friend.

Gabrielle was blessed to find love with Christopher Akins, who she affectionally called  "C". They both shared her kindred spirit, the same thoughts, interests, and views. Christopher "C" had plans to make her his bride.

The beloved Gabrielle G. Boone's earthly assignment unexpectedly concluded on January 4, 2026 with broken hearts to grieve her loss.  She leaves behind an abundance of family and friends who will continue to celebrate her life, her love, and the memories: fiancé Christopher Akins; her parents- Cynthia Boone and Ronnie (Nickole) Macklin; brothers-Raffeal Boone, Cameron Macklin, Bakari Pittman, and Devonte Shields; sister- Brittany (Andre) Layden; maternal grandparents Richard and Geneva Boone; paternal grandparents: Billy and Carolyn Boddie; aunts- Brittany Boone, Angela Webster and Brenda Allen; uncles- Maurice Ingram and Michael Boddie; special bonded first cousins-Trendell (Mikala), Tavarious Kee, and Katelyn Boone; godchildren: Kaniya Henard, Kaydence and Kingston Dillard, Tomarcus Campbell, and Carter Bass; loving relatives of the Williams, Boone, Thompson, and Macklin Families; caring extended & adopted family: sister- Brittany Dillard; aunts- LaShunda Lewis, Wilma Wilkes, Tammy Thomas, Jamie Hayes; uncle Reginald Thompson, and the Prospect Missionary Baptist Church Family.
