Hubert Lee Douglas was born on January 11, 1951 in Mason, TN to the union of the late Willie Lee Humphrey and Willie Bee Douglas Brown. The final chapter of his life was written on January 16, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.

As a young man, Hubert professed his faith in Christ and became a member of Williamson Chapel M B Church in Mason, TN.  He received his education from the Fayette County School District and later dedicated many years of service to Wilson's Farms in Somerville, TN where his employment journey concluded.

Our beloved Hubert Lee Douglas leaves to cherish his life, his step-father Johnny Melvin Brown of Mason, TN; six siblings- Mary (Chester, Sr.) Davis of Somerville, TN:  Hazel Brown, Dorothy Johnson, Juanita (Willie Earl) Taylor and Shirley Dowell all of Mason, TN and Wanda (Lawrence) Dowell of Covington, TN; Five brothers- Melvin (Mary) Brown and Jessie Brown both of Memphis, TN; Eugene Brown of Mason, TN; Floyd (Carolyn) Oliver of Covington and Jack Oliver of Stanton; 3 aunts-Stella Douglas of Somerville, TN; Alma Douglas of Stanton, TN and Dorothy Evans of Long Beach, CA; a special niece, Pamela Davis who faithfully accompanied him to all of his medical appointments; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends who will miss "Herbert" dearly.

In addition to his parents, Hubert was preceded in death by his grandparents- Phelan and Lizzie Jefferson-Douglas and Otha and Rachel Humphreys-Taylor.
