Danielle Michele Maclin Parker was born on February 22, 1974, to Deborah Maclin and Charles Edward Wright Sr. She completed her earthly journey on March 24, 2026, at 8:38 a.m., surrounded by loved ones.
Danielle accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Lawrence Chambers. A 1992 graduate of Munford High School, she excelled academically and artistically, participating in the National Honor Society and honor choir.
She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she met the love of her life, Rev. O.C. Parker Jr. They were united in marriage on November 26, 1994, and were blessed with two sons, JaVaun R. (Garielle) Parker Sr. and Jordan R. Parker. Together, they served faithfully at St. Matthew M.B. Church in Stanton, TN, and later as Pastor and First Lady of Henning Grove Baptist Church in Ripley, TN
Professionally, Danielle worked with several physicians in Covington, Atoka, and Memphis. She was especially cherished as Dr. Joy Casama's "right-hand lady" at Atoka Pediatrics, where her compassion touched countless families.
Danielle was known for her authenticity, warmth, and radiant smile. She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking, bowling, movies, trying new restaurants, motorcycle riding, and shopping. She was affectionately known as "MeMe" to her five granddaughters: Khaylen Elise Parker, Aniya Parker, Jayde Parker, Kali Rose Parker, and Zaria Kalis Dyson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of thirty-one years, Pastor O.C. Parker Jr.; her sons and grandchildren; her mother, Deborah Maclin Moore of Yokota, Japan; her father, Charles Edward Wright Sr. of Milwaukee, WI; sisters - Alyssa Elaine Maclin and Candace Elisha Moore Dickson; brothers - Adrian B. Moore and Christopher C. (Denise) Moore; mother-in-law McLissa Webb; father-in-law Timothy (Fonda) Webb Sr.; sisters-in-law Dorian (Tim) Joyce, Katherine (Terrance) Parker-Joy, and Charolette Davis; brothers-in-law Patrick Gipson, Steve (Stacy) Sanford, Timothy Webb Jr., and Jeremy (Danielle) Davis.
She is also survived by siblings Cindy Lewis, Tasha King, Tanisha Wright, Germayel Wright, and Laquita Wright; and godchildren Brittany Winfield, LaShondra Woods-McBride, Janee Scott, Anthony Farrow, Dejuan Willis, JaWaun Willis, and Jeremeshia Isom.
Preceding Danielle in death was her precious grandson, JaVaun R. Parker, Jr.; brother- Charles Wright, Jr.; grandparents- James (Myrtle) Maclin; Albert (Samonia) Wright and father-n-law - OC Parker, Sr.
To know Danielle was to adore her. The love, strength, and light she possessed will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
