Larry Jordan was born to the union of the late R. D. and Bernice Harris Jordan on June 1, 1965 in Gallaway, TN.

Larry was a self employed carpenter during his journey.  He received his education from the Fayette County School District.

On the 28th day of August 2024 at the hour of 7:15 p.m., the jokester and "gentle giant" of the family surrendered to his call at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Larry was the father of 2 children- Cordarro Jordan of Somerville, TN and Daniel (Almeisha) Brewer of Camarillo, CA;  he was a brother to- Patricia (Melvin) Farsee of Cordova, TN; Lovell (Reginald) Herring of Somerville, TN; Randy (Barbara) Jordan of Reynoldsburg, OH; Alfadella Jordan and Robert (Darlene) Jordan both of Gallaway, TN; Virgie (Louis) Brooks of Bartlett, TN; Shelia (Larry) Windless of Memphis, TN; brother-in- law Robert Leavy and the late James Jordan, Florence McLaurin and Ruby Dean Leavy;  Larry was the grandfather of 7 grandchildren; he also leaves aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
