Mary Frances Reese was born in Pope , MS to the union of Joe Eddie Reese and Ida Frances Benson Reese on January 18, 1941.

Her spiritual journey began at Hopewell MB Church in Mason, TN, where she was baptized and remained a faithful member until failing health.

Affectionately known as “Mary Dean” to family and friends, she received her education through the Gaylor School system in Mason, Tennessee. Later in life, she met and married Eubus Jackson, Sr., and together they built a loving family. Their union was blessed with eight children: Eubus C. (Kim) Jackson, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; Rosa Jackson of Munford, Tennessee; Eddie Lee (Cynthia) Jackson of Memphis TN; LindaJackson of Brighton, Tennessee; Rena (Robert) Sims, Eubus (Danirda ) Calhoun, and Hubus (Dorothy) Calhoun, all of Southaven, Mississippi; and the late Rickey Calhoun.

Professionally, Mary dedicated forty-one years of faithful service to Charms, where she eventually retired after a distinguished career. Outside of work, she found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved fishing, playing games, watching game shows, cooking meals for those she loved, and spending precious time with children. Her nurturing spirit extended not only to people but also to animals, reflecting the compassion that defined her life.

Mary was known as one of the kindest individuals anyone could ever meet. Her generosity was evident in both grand and simple gestures. Family and friends fondly remember how, "back in the day," she would always make sure the children had two dollars to buy treats from the store, a small act that left lasting memories and brought countless smiles.

On September 20, 2026, the beloved matriarch of our family peacefully answered her Master's call at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis, Tennessee.

In addition to her children, Mary leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life three sisters: JoAnna (Matthew) Shaw and Wade Dean Hobson, both of Detroit, Michigan, and Mable McNeal of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, Joseph Reese of Memphis, Tennessee; along with three generations of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved parents, husband, son and brother, Willie "Terry" (Betty) Reese, whose memory she cherished throughout her life.
