Ronald Allen
Elkins
Aug 27, 1967 — Sep 11, 2025
Ronald Allen Elkins was born in Marion, Indiana, to the union of Tommy Lee Elkins and the late Beulah Elam Elkins. On the morning of September 11, 2025, at 11:53 a.m., Ronald peacefully transitioned at Baptist Hospital Tipton in Covington, Tennessee, closing the final chapter of a life well-lived.
Ronald received his education from Marion High School in Marion, Indiana. He served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy, demonstrating honor and dedication. Following his military service, he became a valued employee of Harwell Construction, where he was known for his hard work and reliability.
In his leisure time, Ronald found joy in fishing and was often the vibrant center of family gatherings—always ready with a joke, a story, or a warm smile and a song. He truly was "the life of the party," bringing laughter and light wherever he went.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was a devoted father to Breonna Elkins and Kaylynn Elkins both of Marion, Indiana. He was a beloved brother to Michel Lyons of Chicago, IL; Sharon K. Elkins and Quanita (Stanley) Harwell, both of Covington, TN; Tommy Lee Elkins, Jr. of Kansas City, MO; and Melissa Elkins of Covington, TN.
He leaves behind four cherished grandchildren; 2 aunts- Patsy Johnson of Brighton, TN and Linda Davis of Covington, TN; 3 uncles- Arzell Elam of Covington, TN and Charles (Dorothy) Elkins of Marion, Indiana and James (Gertrude) Elkins of Covington, TN, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will carry his memory in their hearts and miss him deeply.
