Steven L. Jones  (aka "Steve")  departed this life on November 30, 2025, at Lauderdale Community Hospital in Ripley, Tennessee. Steven's journey began in Memphis, Tennessee, born to Kenneth Jones,Sr. (Alicia Strickland) and Sharon Buford Jones.

Steven's educational path started in the Tipton County School District. His career began in factory labor, including work at Cold Storage. Motivated by a desire to expand his opportunities and pursue his passion, Steven established KJ & Sons Trucking Company, LLC, a testament to his determination and entrepreneurial spirit.

Steven was a devoted father to a blended family of nine children: Tre'vion and Tamia Jones, Demerrius and Serenity Overall, Steven Jones, Jr., Mylani and Mylena Jones, and Durriyah and Jer'Mereia Overall.

In addition to his parents, he also leaves to celebrate his life three siblings- Melvin Dowell, Kenneth Jones, Jr., and Precious Jones, his grandparents - Henrietta Jones and Margaret Jones; a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, relatives and countless friends.
