The life of Tiffany Deshun Cathey began on March 24, 1975, in Memphis, Tennessee, where she was  welcomed by her parents, Robin Cathey and Lue Voine Tipton. At an early age, Tiffany accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at Progressive Baptist Church—an act of faith that guided her life and shaped her spirit.

Tiffany received her education in the Tipton County School District and proudly graduated from Covington High School in 1994.

She dedicated over 20 years of service to Comfort Inn. Her entrepreneurial spirit later led her to become the owner and operator of Cathey's Tax Service, reflecting her independence, work ethic, and commitment to excellence.

On February 27, 2026, Tiffany peacefully entered eternal rest. She was a beautiful soul who never allowed life's challenges to define her. Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Tiffany's  memories will be cherished by her daughter, Tralyhia Thomas of Memphis, Tennessee; her sisters, Tanya Maxwell of Columbus, Georgia, and Shantel Cathey-Whitehead of Memphis, Tennessee; her beloved niece—"a daughter at heart"—Tionna Cleaves of Macon, Georgia; her godchild, TreDaveon Jefferson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
