Obituary

Without warning or a final farewell, our beloved Travis DeWayne Williamson departed this life on March 22, 2026 at Baptist Hospital Tipton. He was born August 15, 1985, in Somerville, Tennessee, to Cartrel D. Williamson and Ruby Harwell Williamson.

Known affectionately as "DeeBo" by family and friends, he received his education through the Fayette County School District. His spiritual journey began at Shiloh CME Church in Somerville, TN.

On July 22, 2023, Travis married the love of his life, and together they blended a beautiful family of four children: Travis York of Bolivar, TN:  Steafon (Asia) McNeal, Keyone (Lashara) McNeal, and Lavuries (Montika) McNeal, all of Somerville, TN.

Travis was known for his strong work ethic—some would even call him a "workaholic." His professional journey included positions at Longtown Gin, Arlington Development Center, Memphis Contracting Packaging (AKA Softies), Apex, Unilever, and most recently, Charms Company in Covington, Tennessee.

Travis leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Toneika McNeal Williamson, and their children; his loving mother, Ruby Williamson of Somerville,TN; three siblings, Turquoise (Robert) Whitaker,  LaDarius (LaDaysha) Gilchrease, and Ieisha Williamson, all of Somerville, TN; his grandmother, Anna (Roosevelt) Moore of Somerville, TN; seven grandchildren; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
