Vernida Parham Campbell answered her call on December 20, 2025, at her home.

Born February 4, 1933, in Ashland, Mississippi, to Timothy and Shirley B. Falls, Vernida was raised in a strong Christian home. She accepted Christ at Wray's Chapel Church, where she was baptized.

Vernida attended Williams School and later moved to Somerville, Tennessee. For more than 40 years, she worked faithfully at Longtown Restaurant. During this time, she united with Prospect M.B. Church in Gallaway, Tennessee, where she remained a devoted member until her passing.

In 1960, Vernida married Claudie Campbell. Though they had no children, she touched many lives with her kindness, strength, and quiet inspiration.

Cherishing her memory are two brothers, Robert (Marcendia) Falls of Ontario, CA, and Charles Falls of Los Angeles, CA; devoted nieces and caregivers, Shirley (Joe) Thompson and Jerline (Lester) Davis of Somerville, TN; along with other relatives and friends.

The love and memories she shared will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and nine siblings: Essie B. Williams, Shirley Shelton, Callie B. Falls, Willie Parham, Napolean Parham, Timothy Parham, Bobby Falls, Maurice Falls, and Mike Falls.
