Willie Mitchell Matthews, aka "Bull", transitioned on September 7, 2023 at his residence in Mason, TN. He was the son of Ottway and T.L. Terry Matthews and husband to the late Dolly Spencer Matthews.

Willie Matthews leaves to celebrate his life 6 children: Jamita Matthews of Kansas, MO; LaTanya Matthews of  Des Moines, IA; Kelvin Matthews of Atlanta, GA;  Dominique (Mike) Rasberry - Battles of Avon Indiana; Kenyatta Moore and Omar Jarketa (Brittney) Moore both of Indianapolis, IN.; 2 siblings- Mary Maclin and Ellen Matthews both of Gary, Indiana; 8 grandchildren 3  great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents and wife, 7 siblings, and 2 great grandchildren precedes him in death.
