Obituary

Oh, what joy filled the room when Cornelius and Latisha Bonner Maxwell welcomed their beloved daughter, Willine Maxwell, into the world on Saturday, August 4, 1934. She was the seventh of seven children.

Willine accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at Fredonia Baptist Church. In her adult years, she rededicated her life to Christ at Greater Fredonia Baptist Church where she remained a devoted and faithful member.

Willine received her education through the Fayette County School District. In time, she met and married the love of her life, Willie Randle, Sr. Their union was richly blessed with eight beautiful children: Willie (Jerdean) Randle, Jr., Wendell Randle, Joyce Randle Taylor, Arnita (Tommie) Terry, Cynthia (Willie) Tapplin, Ronald Randle, the late Barbara Randle and Lawrence Randle.

Affectionately known as "MaDea", Willine was an in-demand Hair Stylist for 40 plus years. She was a Daycare Provider in the community for many children,as well as her family. She also worked several years at the Arlington Upholstery Factory. She found true joy in life's simple pleasures such as, cherishing time on her porch and appreciating God's creation. She also loved cooking, sewing, cleaning, singing and spending time with her beloved family.

On January 27, 2025, Willine Maxwell Randle's earthly journey came to a peaceful close at Baptist Hospital in Arlington, TN.

She leaves behind a loving legacy through her children, fourteen grandchildren (Tarsha, ShaVonda, Nicholas, Tyrone, Ricco, Camie, LaTassha, Willie III, Femesia, Chari, Terrance, Marcus, Wendy and Jamiah), twenty six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. She also leaves a dedicated daughter- in-law, Gladys Randle.

Willine is preceded in death by her parents, two children, and five siblings: Doyle Maxwell, Ellis Maxwell, Mary Harris, Mattie Mitchell, Ruthie Mae Jackson, and Joseph Maxwell, Sr., one great- grandchild, Kerrington Collier and one great-great- grandchild, Kylee Dowell.

Her life was a testament to faith, love, and service.
